Easter is great. I got to break out the seersucker suit for the first time this year. This year, after worship at the Auburn church of Christ, I went out to the family homestead in Notasulga for Easter dinner with family. We had ham, homegrown asparagus, sweet potatoes, potato salad, deviled eggs, and carrot cake. It was all so good. My Aunt Jewell (above), who will be 100 years old in August, made the sweet potatoes and the deviled eggs. She is an amazing lady.
