First Post

I'm just hanging out at home for most of Spring Break.  College towns are great during breaks, mostly because there is no traffic and no waits at restaurants. 

The rough draft of my rigorous writing is due at the end of the month, so I set aside the whole week to get it done.  I pretty much got it done on Sunday night though, so now I'm a little bored and thought I would start a blog.  The paper is about the ineffective assistance of counsel to indigent defendants and the need for a statewide public defender commission.  Hopefully my Professor doesn't want too much changed.  I would like to spend April studying for finals... 

To-day I rode my bike with my neighbor and minister, Tom Steed.  We rode across town.  The last ride we went 7.1 miles which was more than this one but this one was tougher.  I am trying to get more exercise lately so I can have more energy.  I had planned on going to the driving range after the bike ride but because of all the rain we have gotten it was closed, so we putted for a little while.  I am playing in the annual law school golf tournament on April 13th and want to look like I have some idea of what I am doing.  I haven't played since this past summer.  Even worse, it's at a tough course, the Robert Trent Jones in Prattville.  

On Friday two friends, Meredith and Todd, and I are going to Nashville to see some old friends that live there now.  I'm looking forward to it, Nashville is great.  Auburn plays in the first round of the NIT tomorrow.  I'll probably go.
